  • Summorum Pontifium - the apostolic letter of Pope Benedict XVI specifying the rules, for the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church, for celebrating Mass according to the “Missal promulgated by John XXIII in 1962” (what we now call the Traditional Latin Mass), and for administering most of the sacraments in the form they had before the liturgical reforms following the Second Vatican Council.
