The blessing of candles on the feast of the Purification (February 2nd). If you wish to have candles blessed, they must be in a fully packed box, (filled with paper if necessary) sealed with tape, and clearly labeled with your name. Candles need to be brought to the church on SUNDAY, JAN 29th or WEDNESDAY, FEB 1st and placed on or under the designated table in the entrance area (narthex) of the church. Candles for this blessing will not be accepted at any other time. After Mass on Feb 2nd the blessed candles will be returned to the table in the narthex area where you may collect them.
