Christ the King is Sunday, October 27. Established by Pope Pius XI in 1925 in a call to “restore all things in Christ,” the feast was placed on the last Sunday of October in proximity to All Saints’ and All Souls’ days, proclaiming Christ as King over all the Church and the world, as well to counteract “Reformation Sunday” in Protestant circles, which occurs the same day.

The 10:30 Solemn High Mass will include a small orchestra and conclude with a Eucharistic procession around the block (weather permitting) and Benediction. All are encouraged to attend!
