Labor Mariae is a Marian, traditional, semi-contemplative community of Sisters. They are a private association of the faithful in the Diocese of Kansas City—St. Joseph and their convent is located at a parish where they serve. The Sisters of Labor Mariae strive to assist Our Lady in her labor for the salvation of souls in three main ways: through the Sacred Liturgy (the Holy Mass and the praying of the entire Divine Office), through the interior life (1.5 hours of mental prayer per day), and through our apostolate (catechesis and other services offered at the parish).

Choir Gathering – September 15

From the Director of Music: Our parish choir (Chorus Omnium Sanctorum) is hosting a conference/rehearsal/dinner social on Saturday, September 15th from 4:00 – 8:30 pm, beginning in the Parish Center Choir Room. More about our sacred music program.

This is not just for returning choir members, but also for new members and those who might be interested in joining the choir. It remains a great desire of mine to balance having high expectations and singing excellent repertoire with helping elevate less experienced singers through solid pedagogy and technique skills, all in a spirit of authentic, Christly joy and charity.

Please register by Saturday, September 8. To do so, or with any other questions that you might have about music in the context of the Liturgy, please contact me at flaherty.allsaints@gmail.com. – God bless you! – Mr. Jacob Flaherty
