We would like to do the blessing of candles on the Feast of the Purification this year (February 2nd), if you would like to have candles blessed the procedure is as follows:
- Candles must be in a box that can be closed and the box must be clearly labeled with your name
- Your box of candles needs to be brought to the church on SUNDAY JAN 31 or MONDAY FEB 1, and placed on or under the designated table in the entrance area (narthex) of the church. Candles for this blessing will not be accepted at any other time.
- The blessed candles will be transferred back to the table in the narthex area after Mass, where you can collect them at any time.
